Woodrow

Meet Woodrow (Woody), a handsome and characterful boy of around 3 - 4 years old who came into our care after being found with a serious leg injury. As an unneutered, unchipped stray, no owner could be traced despite extensive efforts to reunite him with his family.

A veterinary examination revealed that Woody had suffered a bite wound to his shoulder, which had caused painful cellulitis and swelling down his leg. Despite his discomfort, he handled treatment and recovery with remarkable resilience.

When Woody first arrived, he was frightened, wary, and quick to hiss, earning himself the nickname “Mr Hissy Pants.” But as he realised he was safe and cared for, his true personality began to shine. Now, Woody is an affectionate, loving cat who adores attention and enjoys being involved in whatever is going on around him.

Woody can sometimes become a little overexcited during fuss and may give the occasional playful nip, so we feel he would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 and over.

Having overcome injury, uncertainty, and life on the streets, Woody is now ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to thrive and enjoy the happy future he deserves.

Could you be the special person willing to give Woody the second chance he has been waiting for? We truly believe that whoever welcomes this wonderful boy into their home will gain a loyal, affectionate companion and a friend for life.
