Tabby
Tabby is 14 and has been in the care of Pippa’s Army since January, and despite everything he has to offer, he has sadly received very little interest. We would love nothing more than to see this wonderful boy finally find the loving retirement home he so deserves.
Tabby came into our care after the heartbreaking loss of his owner, who sadly passed away. Having lost the only home he had ever known, he is now looking for someone special who can offer him a second chance—a safe, loving home where he can once again feel secure and cherished.
At 14 years young, Tabby is in good health for his age. He has a slight heart murmur, but it doesn’t stop him from enjoying life. Once he gets to know and trust you, he is an incredibly affectionate and loving companion with a wonderful personality. He still has a playful side too, and delights in chasing and batting around his favourite toys like a kitten, proving that age is just a number.
Like many older cats who have experienced change and loss, Tabby can be a little reserved when meeting new people. He just needs a little time, patience, and understanding to build his confidence. Once he feels safe, his gentle, sweet nature truly shines through, and he forms a lovely bond with those who care for him.
Tabby isn’t asking for much—just a warm bed, kind hands, and someone to love him for the rest of his days. We know his perfect person is out there, and we hope they will see beyond his age and give this deserving gentleman the happy ending he has been waiting so patiently for.
