Stewart

Meet Stewart, a big, handsome bear of a boy who we believe is around 5–6 years old. He is now searching for a loving forever home where he can finally experience the comfort, security, and affection he has missed for so much of his life.

Stewart has spent a long time surviving on the streets, fending for himself and facing the many challenges that come with life as a stray. Thankfully, he was looked after by kind-hearted people who regularly fed him, and after building trust over time, we were finally able to bring him into our care. Although his past has clearly been a difficult one, it has not diminished his loving nature. Beneath his tough exterior is a gentle, affectionate boy who simply wants to be loved.

Despite everything he has been through, Stewart absolutely adores human attention and is beginning to discover what it means to feel safe. One thing that has always brought him joy is food—he loves his meals and will never say no to a tasty treat! He is also starting to learn how to play, something he may never have had much opportunity to do before.

Sadly, some reminders of his past remain. Stewart is uncomfortable with feet being close to him, which speaks volumes about the hardships he may have experienced. He still carries a few battle scars from his years on the streets, can be a little vocal at times, and arrived looking rather dirty and weathered. However, with each passing day, these signs of his difficult past are fading as he learns that he is finally safe and cared for.

Stewart is a truly special boy with so much love to give. All he needs now is a patient, understanding family willing to give him the time, kindness, and TLC he deserves. In return, he will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and the chance to watch him blossom into the happy, confident cat he was always meant to be.
