Meet Duchess

Duchess is a young girl who has already experienced more than any cat should.

She was found living rough on an industrial site, doing her best to survive and keep herself safe. When we discovered she was microchipped, we hoped it meant she would finally be reunited with her family.

Sadly, that wasn’t the ending we hoped for. Her owner didn’t want her back.

It’s no wonder Duchess was nervous when she first came into our care. She had been living alone and had no reason to trust that people would keep her safe.

But, day by day, Duchess is learning that not every human will let her down. She is beginning to discover that kindness, patience and love really do exist.

We believe Duchess could potentially be very happy as an indoor-only cat, provided she has plenty of enrichment, stimulation and, most importantly, a safe and loving home.

Duchess has already been let down once. Please help us make sure she never is again.
