Meet Dylan – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Loving Home

Dylan is a handsome boy of around 6 years old who is looking for a special home to match his special needs.

When Dylan came into our care, he was suffering from a severe ear infection that had ruptured his eardrum. Despite the pain he must have been in, he never once lashed out at his rescuer or the vet, showing just how gentle and trusting he truly is.

Although his infection has now been successfully treated and he has been discharged by the vet, it has unfortunately left him with some balance issues, which may be lifelong. Dylan can manage carpeted stairs, jump onto chairs and even his favourite spot on the bed, but he is a little wobbly and occasionally loses his balance. Because of this, he is looking for an indoor-only home, or ideally one with a secure garden enclosed by 6ft fencing where he can safely enjoy some outdoor time.

Dylan adores company and has a wonderfully laid-back nature. He is good with children, provided they are calm and gentle with him. He wouldn’t be suited to children looking for an energetic playmate, as he much prefers a quiet life with plenty of cuddles. He also gets on well with other cats, although his gentle personality means he could be bullied by a more dominant feline, so he’d be happiest with equally friendly companions. He has not yet been dog tested.

For added peace of mind, if Dylan experiences any future problems related to his ear, Pippa’s Army will cover the veterinary costs, provided he is taken to one of our approved vets in Grays, Dagenham, Rise Park, Elm Park or Harold Hill.
